Fee structure

$120 inclusive per service (up to three attempts) within Christchurch area. $40 per attempt thereafter.

Areas of Rolleston, Kaiapoi, Darfield and Little River etc .80 per Km.

Dissolution of marrriage $120.

Includes Affidavit of Service if required.

Terms and conditions

1. General

1.1 These are the full Terms & Conditions between Serve-U-Right (the supplier/we) and the (customer).
1.2 Contracting the supplier to carry out work or acceptance of a quote provided by the supplier constitutes acceptance by the customer of these terms and conditions whether specifically signed for or not.
1.3 These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the laws of New Zealand in respect of any dispute arising from these Terms and Conditions.

2. Service

2.1 Serve-U-Right provides a service to those requiring document to be served within the Christchurch and surrounding areas.
2.2 Every effort will be made to provide the service in a professional and timely manner.
2.3 No warranty is expressed or implied as to the successful outcome.
2.4 We will communicate with you as to the success or otherwise of the delivery/service.
2.5 An Affidavit of Service will be provided where necessary.

3. Pricing

3.1 All services will be as per our fees schedule unless a written quotation is provided.
3.2 The base price will include up to three (3) attempts to serve the documents.
3.3 If for any reason we have been unable to serve the documents as above we will advise you and obtain further instruction or return the documents.
3.4 Our fees are not dependent on a successful outcome or the ability to serve the documents.

4. Payment

The Customer shall pay the price to the supplier in the following manner:
4.1 Where a credit application has been approved payment is due 7 days after invoice date by cleared funds paid direct to our nominated bank account.
4.3 In all other cases payment in full is required in advance.
4.4 If full payment is not made in accordance with our payment terms then the customer will be in default under this contract and the supplier may exercise all of the rights and remedies set out in this contract and otherwise available within the law;
4.5 The customer will pay interest on the default monies at a rate of 2.5% per month or part thereof from the due date.
4.6 The customer will be liable for all expenses incurred by the supplier in recovering the debt including but not limited to collection agency fee, legal fees and court costs inclusive of the disputes tribunal.
4.7 The Customer agrees that any details relating to any overdue account can be passed to another party for credit reporting purposes.

5. Consumer Guarantees Act

5.1 Where the supplier is supplying goods and services to the customer for business purposes within the meaning of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, pursuant to section 43 the provision of that act will not apply to this agreement.

6. Information and Privacy Act

6.1 Where the customer has requested a credit facility it authorizes the supplier to collect all information it may require from any third parties and authorizes those third parties to release that information to the supplier. The customer may request access to and correction of this information at any time.
6.2 Any data or information held on the customer’s computer will be kept confidential and will not be retained by the supplier.

7. Warranty or Disputes

7.1 Where any dispute arises between the parties it is agreed that every effort will be made to resolve such matters without the need to involve any other parties or legal action.
7.2 In any event the supplier’s maximum liability shall not exceed the total amount invoiced for the work.
